12TH SEPTEMBER 2022: The purpose of the Freshers Celebration is to welcome new students in a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. It is the day when seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate being part of the college. Students of BSc 1st semester and MSc 1st semester were welcome by Bsc 3rd and 5th semester as well as MSc 3rd semester students. The students decorated the room very beautifully in order to make a memorable day for the freshers.
The program started with Vice Principal Sir’s speech, followed by our Department’s HOD and all the teaching staff. The program started at 1:30 pm and was hosted by a student of the BSc 5th semester. After the speech, we had our first dance performed by a student from the 3rd semester, followed by many other programs. Then we moved on to the gift distributing ceremony, which was done by our respected teachers.
We had a lunch break in between and then continued with the enjoyment. Most of the students took part and everybody enjoyed the program. We concluded the program by once again welcoming all the freshers to our small family. At last we had a fun play between juniors and seniors adding more moments to the enjoyment list.
At last we selected our Himakshi Kashyap and Debojit Konch as The Ms. Fresher and Mr. Fresher of 2022 batch.
