Welcome to Department of Electronics

The Department of Electronics at Digboi College was established in 1987. The Department of Electronics initially offered only non-major UG programme till 2013. Department of Electronics introduced the UG B.Sc. Honours programme in Electronics under Dibrugarh University in 2013. The aim of this programme is to provide the necessary theoretical background and practical experience in order to meet the requirements of the R&D Organizations and Industries. Full range of resources and facilities are available to the students. There are well equipped laboratories for experimental work in the following areas: Circuit designing, Electronics Material, Semiconductor Devices, Microprocessor, and Optical Electronics. The student graduating from the programme have the necessary theoretical and practical skills to take on any R&D and Production responsibilities in today’s complex and challenging environment.
