Welcome to Department of Chemistry

The department of Chemistry at Digboi College was established in 1965. At first, the department of Chemistry offered a non-major UG programme. Department of Chemistry introduced the UG BSc Honours programme in Chemistry under Dibrugarh University in 1988. The department has well-equipped laboratory facilities with digital types of equipment. Faculty members are actively engaged in high-quality research in chemical sciences as well as interdisciplinary topics. Department of Chemistry, Digboi College seeks to be recognized as the best department in Digboi College with acknowledged excellence in teaching and outreach.
