DESCRIPTION:Three Days Student-Faculty Exchange Programme \nOrganized by IQAC\, P.G. Dept. of Life Sciences\, Digboi College and The Assam Royal Global University\, Guwahati\, Assam \nDated: 20th – 22nd May 2023 \n22nd May 2023:  \nA three days long Student-Faculty Exchange programme has been organized by IQAC\, Digboi College in between P.G. Department of Life Sciences\, Digboi College and Department of Zoology\, The Assam Royal Global University\, Guwahati\, Assam at Digboi College and Dehing Patkai National Park from 20th – 22nd May\, 2023 in association with MoU signed by the esteemed institutions.  \nDay 1: On 20th May\, 2023 the students are introduced to local ecotourism initiatives in Dehing Patkai National park. The resource persons of the programme were Mr. Rajib Rudra Tariang\, Asst. Prof.\, P.G. Department of Life Sciences\, Digboi College and Dr. Mitrajit Deb\, Asst. Prof.\, The Assam Royal Global University\, Guwahati. \n  \nDay 2: On 21st May\, 2023\, wild trailing and Nature walk is conducted at Dehing Patkai National Park with hands on practical. The resource persons of the programme were Mr. Rajib Rudra Tariang\, Asst. Prof.\, P.G.Department of Life Sciences\, Digboi College and Dr. Mitrajit Deb\, Asst. Prof.\, Dept. of Zoology\, Royal Global University\, Guwahati and Miss. Sangita Biswas\, Asst. Prof.\, Dept. of Zoology\, The Assam Royal Global University\, Guwahati. \n  \nDay 3: On 22nd May\, 2023\, the technical sessions are organized at Digboi College. The programme has started with introductory session with Dr. Dip Saikia\, Principal\, Digboi College and Dr. Pabitra Bharali\, IQAC Coordinator\, Digboi College as chair persons. The programme is followed by parallel technical sessions with resource persons\, Dr. Tilal Ch. Dutta\, Associate Prof.\, P.G. Dept. of Life Sciences Digboi College and Dr. Mitrajit Deb\, Asst. Prof.\, The Assam Royal Global University\, Guwahati who delivered talk on “Mushroom farming and its importance as food” and “Urban Ecology” respectively. Technical session II includes talks on “Animal Behaviour”\, “Microbial role in Biogeochemical Cycling”\, “Introduction to Amino acids and Proteins” and “Metamorphosis of Insects” by resource persons Miss. Sangita Biswas\, Asst. Prof.\, Dept. of Zoology\, The Assam Royal Global University\, Guwahati\, Miss. Sapna Tiwari\, Miss Priyanka Debnath and Miss. Piyali Debroy\, Asst. Prof.\, P.G.
