DESCRIPTION:11th February 2023:  The Department of Physics Celebrated the 8th International day of Women and Girls in Science in a befitting manner at the seminar Hall in the presence of students and faculty members. At the outset Gayatri Thapa\, (B.Sc.6th semester Physics Honours) described the significance of the day. This was followed by Debangshee Paul (B.Sc. 6th Semester) giving a comprehensive account of Madam Curie\, the iconic scientist and Nobel Laureate. \n\nAfter this Dr. Rashmi Patowary (H.o.D) gave a presentation on the Indian women Scientists.
