SWAPAN LIMBU – JEST AIR 48, JAM AIR 96

Swapan Limbu, Dept. of Physics, B. Sc. 6th semester, Digboi College has cleared JEST and JAM with All India Rank (AIR) 48 and 96 respectively. He is a proud son of Indra Bahadur Limbu(Father) and Bhagawati Limbu (Mother). Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) organized by the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research is one of the toughest exams for Physics Honours students. In 2022, a total of 1151 students have cleared the cut-offs for Physics and Theoretical Computer Science. 403 candidates out of 4005 candidates have qualified for the MSc / Integrated PhD programs and 703 candidates qualified out of 5103 candidates for the PhD programs.

Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is an all-India level online entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) every year on a rotational basis on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. IIT JAM is conducted to provide admission to candidates in MSc and other postgraduate courses offered at IITs and integrated PhD courses offered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Several National Institutes of Technology (NITs).
